Platelet-rich plasma therapy, or Vampire Facial, is an anti-aging non-surgical procedure that uses your own blood and your own body’s healing mechanisms to repair and strengthen the skin. The activated platelets in Vampire Facial release several growth factors that stimulate the production of collagen, elastin, and reparative cells and enhance the natural healing process.
You are effectively jump-starting your body’s own rejuvenation systems, including collagen stimulation and hydration.
The results of Vampire Facial will be seen gradually starting three to four weeks after your first treatment, as collagen production in the treated area increases. 3-4 sessions are recommended for maximum results.
What happens during Vampire Facial treatment?
A small amount of your blood is drawn and it is then processed in a centrifuge machine that spins very quickly, to separate and push the platelet-rich plasma to one side. This plasma is then collected and injected into the areas of concern.
What can Vampire Facial treat?
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Uneven skin tone and pigmentation
- Under eye dark circles and crow’s feet

Vampire Facial for:
Face and Skin
Vampire Facial treatment improves skin texture and tone and regenerates collagen, helping reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, tackle blemishes and improve scarring & pigmentation. A course of Vampire Facial treatments also brings about an increase in skin thickness, giving skin that youthful, glowing appearance once again.
Under Eyes
Vampire Facial treatment is also great for banishing dark under circles because the Vampire Facial treatment that is re-injected into the skin is so rich in growth factors. The surrounding cells are triggered to proliferate, stimulating our own body’s repair mechanisms. This helps diminish the appearance of dark circles under the eyes and strengthen the delicate skin of the under-eye area.
Frequently Asked Questions
A light numbing cream is applied prior to treatment to make the process more comfortable. Most clients only experience mild discomfort as a result of the injections and this is only temporary.
Unfortunately not. Patients with abnormal platelet function, clotting disorders and chronic liver disease are not suitable for Vampire Facial therapy. We also do not recommend it for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Please remember to disclose your relevant medical history to your Clinician during your consultation.
Injecting Vampire Facial involves using a person’s own platelets, which is why this is a very safe treatment. However, you may experience slight irritation, bruising, pain, or bleeding at or around the injection site.
Some bruising, swelling and redness can occur immediately following the procedure. These will resolve within a few days and most people feel confident enough to return to work the next day.
